What do I wear to rare?

Rare is a great chance to get dressed up and enjoy an evening out! Cocktail casual attire is recommended. Please note, this event is rain or shine and the majority of the festivities are on grass.

What happens if it rains?

RARE happens rain or shine.

What should I bring to the festival?

It is never a bad idea to bring a rain jacket or layers depending on the weather report. Colorado springs mean varied weather.
Bring your ID. This event is 21+ only and you will not be able to enter without it. ANY persons under 21 years old will be turned away at the gate, children/babies are not permitted.
We will have water stations in various locations, clearly marked, around the festival. Please do not bring a water bottle to the festival. FREE water is available in the festival and all bottles will be recycled through our Zero Waste, Zero Hunger Program.

What is prohibited?

Illegal substances
Squirt guns, misters, spray bottles
Laser pens and similar focused-light devices
Chairs
Pets
Bicycles, scooters, personal motorized vehicles need to be parked outside of festival grounds (bike parking will be available)
Musical instruments
Fake IDs (these will be confiscated and your wristband will be cut without refund)

Will there be water and non-alcoholic beverages?

Yes! We will have Pepsi products and water clearly marked in various locations around the festival. FREE water is available in the festival, empty water bottles are permitted.

Are kids allowed?

Absolutely no one under 21 years of age will be allowed in the event (this includes babies). All guests will be ID checked prior to entry. Please leave your children at home. We aren’t afraid they will drink, we just don’t want them in the vicinity of adults who are drinking.

Can I bring my pet?

NO PETS! Pets are not permitted. Service and working animals are not considered pets and are exempt from this policy.

Is smoking allowed?

No smoking. Smoking is not allowed at the event other than the Cigar Vendor.

How do I get a refund?

All tickets are non-refundable. Rare Steak Championship does not offer cancellations, refunds, rain checks or exchanges. Please be sure you have selected the correct ticket level and the correct number of tickets before completing your purchase. Tickets are non-transferable and will only be accepted for Rare Steak Championship 2025.
